Great service, well seasoned food, satisfying portions. The restaurant was clean and had a great energy. We visited on a Saturday Night at 6:15. We were seated by Carrie, the owner and Front of the House. Her team is outstanding. They were professional, courteous, attentive and helped one another. It was more than I expected and they made our experience really pleasant. This was our first visit and I can’t wait go back and try the rest of the menu. As the food was delivered I asked Carrie for salt and pepper, she giggled and suggested I try it first. I laughed, said thanks Mom annnnd took her advice. She knows her husband’s cooking, the pork chop was seasoned exceptionally well and needed nothing. CJ, the Chef, was busy and we didn’t meet him but rest assured his kitchen knows food! Topping the night off was a killer cheesecake and a brief history of Carrie and CJ’s experience. Looking forward to our next visit!
Had lunch at Soul on Main and it was a great experience. It was nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits — a decent, flavorful dish with a good portion size. Friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. Will be back!
We were invited today to the soft opening lunch. Our wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and kept our drinks full and empty plates out of the way. My wife got a steak that was cooked to a perfect medium as she requested and it came with the best Mac and cheese that I’ve ever had! I got the chicken sandwich which was a nice juicy piece of chicken with light and tasty breading. The seasoned fries were really good that came with it. The show stopper for the day though was the starter, grit cakes and crispy pork! I would highly recommend stopping at Soul and trying these for yourself.
First off, our server David could not have been more kind, courteous and considerate ESPECIALLY with us showing up 30 minutes before closing. He offered wonderful recommendations and truly treated us like friends. We absolutely loved the food, but to receive such great service guarantees that we will be back again.
We visited Soul for dinner with friends. We were welcomed, greeted and seated immediately (reserved through Resy). There was a photo set up for Valentine's Day which was cool! The service was great and the food was absolutely Delicious! I had the pork chop which was juicy and cooked to perfection 🤌🏽 the grits were some of the best I've had. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits with Cajun seasoning added. Our friends had the ribeye and smash burger. We all shared bites and everything was great. Will definitely be back!
My wife and I absolutely love Soul on Main!!!! It has easily become our favorite restaurant, we try to go at least once a week. Every single thing we've ever ordered there has been delicious, and you can really tell they put care into every meal they serve. The atmosphere is always so welcoming and inviting, which makes every visit feel special and relaxing. The pork chop is incredible and easily one of the best dishes around, and honestly you can't go wrong with any of their sides because they are all amazing. From the food to the service to the overall environment, Soul on Main consistently delivers an outstanding experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and a great atmosphere!!!!
Had a great date night at Soul on Main! Fries were outstanding, fish tacos were great. My wife loved the burger, but I didn’t get a picture before she attacked it. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the quality and skill. Also, their staff was A+ and it made a difference in our experience. Already making plans to go back! Having lived 30+ years in Jessamine county, it’s a real treat to get a great spot like this in Nicholasville.
This was the first time I’ve been to Soul in Main and it certainly won’t be the last! The food was absolutely delicious with good portions. Both my dinner guest and I cleared our plates. Our server was great and knowledgeable and super nice. I would recommend getting a reservation if you plan on getting dinner after 5pm because the space is small and fills up quickly. I highly recommend and will definitely be back to try their other menu items!
What a sweet spot! Food was incredible. I enjoyed the Coca Cola Braised BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was decadent. From the perfect pork to the light brioche bun perfectly toasted to the picked onions mixed with the BBQ Sauce. Wow. The fries were perfectly crisped and seasoned. Everyone was super friendly & the service was great. Looking forward to taking the family here for dinner soon! So good!
